He was predeceased by: his father Otis Strange; his son Dewayne Strange; his grandson Donnie Strange; and his siblings, Randolph Strange, Rev JB Strange, Audie Strange, Melvie Cox, Faye Phillips, Beulah Fowler, Stella Loftis, Belvie Strange, Reba Pack and Shirley High.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Richard Strange; his girlfriend Linda Medley; his daughter Shelley Medley Arrowood (Kevin); his granddaughter Emily Dill; and his legged baby Lady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
