He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Z. Adams and Pearl Bivens Adams; his son Ricky Dennis Adams; his son-in-law Wayne Coleman; his siblings, Ben Adams, Jr., Charles Adams and Betty Powell; and his stepmother Lillie Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Shuford; his daughters, Phyllis White (Richard) and Marcella Coleman; his grandchildren, Amy Davis (Stan), Marc Williamson (Jamie), Chris Williamson (Dana), Adam Richardson (Kim), Megan Williamson, Hailey Davis, Courtney Williamson, Dawson Williamson, Landon Davis, Lance Williamson, Carson Williamson, Lakelan Williamson, Daxton Williamson and Colton Williamson; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Avery and Brystol Williamson.
