He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Trejo Ortiz and Maria Chavez Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jones Chavez; and his children, Rosa Maria Trejo, Sandra Trejo, Karina Trejo, Victoria Trejo, Maricela Gonzalez, Temecia Jones (Omar), Sharon Pilgrim (Jimmy), Katrina Scurry (Anthony), Brittin Clark and Enriquejuarez Gonzalez. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
