She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry Byers, Sr. and Fredna Merlene Barnes Byers; her husband Emory Dale Shelton; and her brother Michael Shawn Byers. She is survived by: her daughter Marlene Michelle Byers (Emory Dale Shelton) of Boiling Springs, SC; her granddaughters, Olivia Merlene Shelton (Brandon) of Highlands, TX and Rosalyn Merlene Lewis of Highlands, TX; her siblings, Tammy Blizzard of Boiling Springs, SC, Diane Bridges of Inman, SC, Thomas Byers, Jr. of Inman, SC, Thomas Shawn Byers of Mayport, FL and William Byers of Boiling Springs, SC; and her pet Dakota Rose.
