With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan G. Hanks (Inman, South Carolina), born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Guthrie and Georgia Tolley Guthrie; and her sister Marilyn Cole. She is survived by: her husband Arthur S. Hanks; her children, Lynn A. Solesbee (Melissa) of Greenville, SC, Gillian L. Roach of Beaufort, SC, Kelli H. Gowan (Scott) of Inman, SC and Valerie H. Munn (Aaron) of Campobello, SC; her grandchildren, Anna (Ben Solesbee), Robert Moore (Shannon) of Spartanburg, SC, Marli Hanks (Mils Gowan) and Blake (Payton McCullough); her great grandchildren, Weston and Madison Moore; and her brother Terry Guthrie (Denise) of Brevard, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
