We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2023, at the age of 87, Shirley Brown Varner (Inman, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Quinn Brown and William Brown; her spouse C. B. Varner; and her siblings, Bill Brown, David Brown and Susie Riddle.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Flint of Inman, Tim Flint of Boiling Springs, Scott Varner of Virginia and Janice Goforth of Boiling Springs; her siblings, Robert Brown of Spartanburg, Douglas Brown of Virginia, Joe Brown of Chesnee and Doris Peake of North Carolina; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Shayla, Chris, Terry, Jenny, Paul, Jessica, Elora, Saviour, Katherine, Kala, Ethen and Ben.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to El Bethel United Methodist Church, 820 S. Church Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29306.
