It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Alice Putnam of Inman, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde F. Abernethy and Alice Torregrossa Abernethy; her husband Ralph Donald Putnam; her sister Lucille B. Bowling; and her great grandchild Jessica Putnam.
She is survived by: her sons, Donnie Putnam (Linda) of Inman, Ronnie Putnam (Becky) of Inman and David C. Putnam (Terri) of Chesnee; her grandchildren, Ralph Donald Putnam III, Shelly Marie Putnam, John Thomas Howland (Mary), Matthew Robert Howland (Katie), Brad Dallas Putnam (Melissa) and Kevin Ronald Putnam (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Braden Putnam, Britany Putnam, Bella Howland, Noah Howland and Emma Hawk; and her great great grandchild Damien Robinson.
