With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Ray Owens (Inman, South Carolina), who passed away on June 5, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Raines Owens and Joe Owens; his brothers, Joe, Paul, Charles, Edgar and Harold; and his stepson Jeff Tessnear.
He is survived by: his wife Ila Sanders Owens; his children, Susan Pruitt of Boiling Springs, Tanya Stewart of Inman and Tim Owens of Inman; his brother Kenneth Owens of Spartanburg; and his stepchildren, Ed Millwood of Jonesville and Kim Whitlock of Lancaster. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
