He is survived by: his stepfather Bobby Joe Lyles; his wife Sherri Jean Vance Young; his children, Rachel Wells of Spartanburg, SC, Bonita, Ben Wheeler of Spartanburg, SC and Cate Young of Asheville, NC; his stepchild Tameka Foster Harris (Cedric); his siblings, Mary Ann Young of Spartanburg, SC, Jeff Tony Young (Joyce) of Union, SC, Bobby Lee Smith of Spartanburg, SC, Duck Lyles of Spartanburg, SC, Annette Jefferies (Larry) of Spartanburg, SC, Wilbert Smith (Vickie) of Boiling Springs, SC and Melvin Smith of Inman, SC; his aunt Bell Young of Spartanburg, SC; and his uncle Cecil Young. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
