He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Heller; his wife Melba Rose Durig Heller; and his siblings, Charles, Edgar, Kenny and Catherine.
He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Heller II (Kimberly) of Harper, KS, Andrea Brozstek of Inman, SC, Christy Nodine (Wayne) of Inman, SC and Sherri Reisz (Jim) of Evansville, IN; his brother Ralph Heller (Pat) of Shadyside, OH; and his grandchildren, Miranda, Tracie, Shawn, Andrew, Christopher, Jennifer and Jimmy. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
