It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma Jean Chappell of Inman, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Marie Jackson (Plumley) and James Brock Jackson; her daughter Debra Chappell; and her sister Mary Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Texanne Bearden (Stan) of Roebuck, SC and Jodie Forster (Daniel) of Boiling Springs; her sisters, Janice Hawkins of Boiling Springs and Joyce Turner of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, James, Lee Chappell (Brittani), Leslie Forster, Jonathan White and Shanna Gregg-White; and her pet Bedo. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
