She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Johnson (Sumner) and Joe Johnson. She is survived by: her husband James Donald Bishop; and her daughter Sherry Waddell of Woodruff, SC. She is also survived by two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman Mills Baptist Church, 22 B Street, Inman, SC 29349.
