She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Blackwell and Mazie Hutchins Blackwell of Campobello; her son Vaughn Clayton; and her husband J. C. Skinner. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Clayton Newman-Brown, Carlton Clayton and James Clayton (Laura); her sister Doris Wilson (Larry); and her sister-in-law Janice Blackwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
