He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene H. Evans and Beulah Welch Evans; and his siblings, Kenneth H. Evans and Susan Evans Hodge. He is survived by: his pet Winston; his wife Pamela Fentress Evans; his children, Jennifer E. Reel (Jack) of Inman, SC and Kenneth Michael Evans of Knoxville, TN; his stepson Jason Finison (Claudia) of Owings, MD; and his grandsons, Jackson Reel and Preston Reel of Inman, SC..
