She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Atkins (Davis) and Claude Atkins; and her siblings, Thelma Atkins, Gladys Coggins, Beulah Bridges and Paul Atkins.

She is survived by: her niece Carolyn Moore; and her nephews, Larry Bridges and Ronnie Bridges.
