She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Claude Brown, Sr.; her parents, F. Oliver Tate and Florence Scales Tate; and her brother-in-law Vernie Tate Wilkins. She is survived by: her children, Homer "Buster" Brown, Jr. (Liz) of Jenkins, KY and Patty B. Smith (Ricky) of Inman; her nephew Bob Wilkins (Becky) of Spartanburg; and her grandchildren, Kim Garrett (Kevin), Craig Smith (Stacey), Brad Smith (Bethani), Mandy Wright (Brandon), Heather Sexton, Allison Brown and Elise Hughes.
