She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Lee Poteat and Odessa Turner Poteat; and her husband Virgil Brown. She is survived by: her siblings, Geraldine Ford of Campobello, Janie Dempsey (Marion) of Inman, Shirley Blackwell (Sam) of Lyman and Jerry Drake (Carol) of Lyman; and her sister-in-law Christine Drake of Inman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
