He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Campbell Sudduth Wood; his siblings, T. Q. Sudduth, Thurmond Sudduth, Carroll Wood, Velma Peace, Clara Gaston, Helen Babb, Nora Mills, Ruby Forrester and Mildred Tate; and his close friend Lucy Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
