She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pressley and Alice Neal Hallman; her husband Earl Blackwell; and her brothers, John Hallman and Ishmal Hallman.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Blackwell (Bill Ballinger) of Spartanburg, SC, Karen Potter (Claude) of Roebuck, SC and William Blackwell of Moore; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Cannon of Spartanburg, SC and Donna Hallman of Oklahoma; her daughter-in-law Mary Sprenger of Boiling Springs, SC; and her pet Tessa. She is also survived by four grandsons, one granddaughter, and 10 great grandchildren.
