He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Daniel Frye and Alice Michaels Frye; and his siblings, Rudy Frye, Frances Frye Thorne, Freddie Frye, Alvin Frye and Henry Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Clark Frye; his children, Gregory Howard Frye, Constance Frye Jones (Anthony) and Trina Frye Landrum (Fredrick); and his grandchildren, Cody Len Frye, Lindsay Reay Landrum, Taylor Renaye Landrum, Gregory Tanner Frye and Johnathan Lamar Landrum (Chanie).
