He was predeceased by: his parents, Hettie Jane Shields Waters and Lewis Cannon Waters. He is survived by: his wife Anna Harley Bush Waters; his daughter Cindy Waters Shultz (Sterling) of Waynesboro, PA; his granddaughters, Rachel Stegmeier and Anna Stegmeier of Harrisonburg, VA; his son Lewis Harris Waters, Jr. (LoriAnn); his grandchildren, Ansley Waters of Potomac Falls, VA, Grace Waters of Potomac Falls, VA and Laurel Waters of Potomac Falls, VA; and his brother-in-law Frank Bush, Jr. (Frankie) of Hartsville, S. C..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of one's choice.
