She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillyie Kiser (Dameron) and Grover Kiser; her husband Gerald Eugene Powell; and her siblings, Carolyn Gosnell and James Kiser.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Henson and Charles Allen Scott; her stepchildren, Michelle Harris (Dwane), Amanda Pearson (Brian), Christy Elrod and James Powell (Carla); her siblings, Verona Vaughn, Elease Felker and Grover Kiser, Jr.; her half-brother Donald Norris; and her grandchildren, Wendy Scott, Kevin Scott, Jennifer Fletcher (Josh), Ryan Henson (Shawna), Isiah Posey, Daniel Scott, Michael Scott, Calista Scott, TJ Messer, Seth Messer (Kendell), Destiney Kirby (Brock), Matthew Powell, Haleigh Powell and Leighanna Elrod. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
