It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Edward Hawkins (Inman, South Carolina), born in Flat Rock, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Hawkins (Jones) and John Arthur Hawkins; and his wife Betty Jo Hawkins (Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Cathy Ipock (Joe E.) of Campobello, Edward A. Hawkins (Emily E.) of Spartanburg and Duane Martin Hawkins of Staunton. He is also survived by two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
