He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan McElrath and Drucilla Ballew McElrath; and his sister Linda Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kay McElrath; his daughter Dawn McElrath Fortner (Sean); his stepson Chris Reaves; his siblings, Ruth Ann Sitton and Gerald McElrath (Lib); and his grandchildren, Dylan, Kylie Fortner and Steven Norton.
