She was predeceased by: her husband William Donald Burton; and her parents, Eugene P. Singleton and Lee Ann Singleton of Barnwell, SC. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Ann Burton Holt (Michael) of Hartsville, SC and Brandy Donyelle Burton Wilkins (Walt) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Annabelle Burton Holt, Michael Shea Holt Jr., Mary Burton Wilkins, William Walter Wilkins IV (Walt) and Donald McCoy Wilkins; her sisters, Nancy Poore (Melvin) and Cathy Still (Jeffrey); and her friends, Mary Metcalf Owens and Susan Metcalf McAbee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House.
