He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell D. Hembree and Lillian Bailey Hembree; and his son Johnny Michael Hembree. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Caroline Farmer Hembree; his children, Pam Hembree Ennis of Boiling Springs, Cindy Southers Cummins (Ben) of Inman, Farrell Hembree of Atlanta and Roger Hembree (Diane) of Spartanburg; and his sister Mildred Lyles of Landrum. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
