He was predeceased by: his parents, Lettie Arveleen Snipes Hawkins and Rev. John Edward Hawkins. He is survived by: his sons, John Tyler Hawkins (Ashley) of Inman and Brett Hawkins of Spartanburg; his sister Luan Woods (Buddy) of Newport, TN; and his grandson Barrett Hawkins of Spartanburg.
