She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Lee and Lillie Lee (Robinson); her husband James "Dick" Simmons; and her siblings, Jesse Lee and Belva Massey.
She is survived by: her children, Edward W. Simmons (Brandy), Lisa Ivester (Rick), Tammie Simmons and Sandy Blackwell (Kevin); her siblings, Jackie Lee, Betty Adair (William) and Doug Lee (Teri); her grandchildren, LeeAnn Magnuson (Josiah), Brittany Simmons, Lillie Blackwell, Elizabeth Simmons, Emily Blackwell and Brody Simmons; and her great grandchild JoLee Magnuson.
