She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert and Lillian Woolard; her husband Kenneth Arthur Porter; her great grandchild Oakland McMillan; and her siblings, Melvin Woolard, Tommy Woolard, Carl Woolard, Frances Williams, Carol Faye Dekle and Reba Hamilton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly McMillan (Henry) and Judith Zschocher (Robert); her grandchildren, Rebekah Fowler (Ray), Katherine Townsend (Jered), Kimberly, Audrey Zschocher, Thomas McMillan (Anna), Nathan McMillan and Joshua Zschocher; her great grandchildren, Andrew Gray, Everleigh McMillan, Avery Fowler and Oakleigh McMillan; and her brother Harold Wayne Woolard.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Motlow Creek Baptist Church (2300 Motlow Creek Rd, Campobello, SC 29322).
