She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Bess Drake (Turner) and Paul Maxwell Drake; her siblings, Bobby Drake, Gene Drake, Jack Emory and Maryanner Brown; her son Danny Dean Shipman; and her grandson Bobby Shane Bradburn.
She is survived by: her spouse Marion Lee Dempsey; her children, Kathy Bradburn (Todd) of Inman, SC, Ronnie Shipman (Lucy) of Cowpens, SC, Scott Shipman of Inman, SC and Douglas Shipman (Lena) of Cowpens, SC; her siblings, Geraldine Ford of Inman, SC, Shirley Blackwell (Sam) of Lyman, SC and Jerry Drake (Carol); her grandchildren, Adam Bradburn, Tyler Bradburn, Danny Ray Shipman, Jason Large, Alan Shipman and Crystal Kilgore; her great grandchildren, Chelsia Large, Katelynn Large, Zoey Shipman and Justin Kilgore; and her sister-in-law Latricia Murray.
