He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Faye Henderson Matthews. He is survived by: his daughters, Sonya Tate of Inman and Jamie Sawyers (Alan) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Nikki Tate, Josh Tate, Casey Tate of Inman, Asia Sawyers, Deshon Sawyers and Alissa Sawyers of Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Jaden Bishop, Braden Bishop and Alyssa Bishop of Inman; and his sister Lynn Epply of Oregon.
