He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Franklin Swain and Sarah Evelyn Robertson Swain; his wife Sylvia Langley Waters Robertson; his grandfather Robert Monroe Robertson; his children, Anne Robertson Reese (Mark) of Belmont, Robert Joseph Robertson (Gail) of Savannah and Dr. Edward Robertson (Kim) of Atlanta, Georgia; his stepchildren, Teresa Waters Taylor (Mark) of Fernandina Beach, Karen Waters Agerton (Cass) of Hendersonville and Rick Neal Waters; and his former wife Shirley Sharpe Robertson. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
