He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Stanley Brown and Grace Lipscomb Brown; and his brothers, John W. Brown and Wofford H. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Tate Brown; his children, Homer "Buster" Brown Jr. of Jenkins, KY and Patty Brown Smith of Inman; his sister Webb of Spartanburg; and his nephew Bob Wilkins (Becky). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
