She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Carl Stewart and Maggie Garner Stewart; her husband Clarence William Brown; her son David Brown; and her siblings, Ruth Wolfe, Boyd Stewart and Raymond Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Washburn of Inman; her sister Betty Lewis; and her grandchildren, Curtis Greene (Rosenit), Perry Greene (Christie), Trisha Allen (David) and Ryan Greene. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
