She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marvin Edwards, Sr. and Grace O'Gary Edwards (Edwards); her husband John Hollis Brooks; her siblings, William Ervin Edwards, James Marvin Edwards, Jr., Annie Mary Sellars and Delia Edwards Bayne; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Harmon Edwards, James L Bayne and Harold Sellars.
She is survived by: her sister Bessie Mae Mallory (Bess); and her brother-in-law Robert Mallory (Bob).
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, private funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev Beth Hoskins officiating.
