She was predeceased by: her parent Nellie McCarter Strange; and her siblings, Belvie Strange, Melvie Cox, Beula Fowler, Reba Pack, Stella Loftis, Audie Strange and Randolph Strange.
She is survived by: her parent Otis Strange; her children, James "Mike" Melton, Sandra, Debbie Harris of Campobello and Gwen; her siblings, Pat High and Donald Strange; and her sister-in-law Shirley Strange. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
