He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Toney, Jr. and Sarah Frances Lanford Toney; his wife Carol Joyce Pomerville Toney; and his siblings, Melvin L. Toney, James W. Toney and Kathryne Rebecca Toney Gentry.
He is survived by: his brother Harold Lee Toney of Boiling Springs, SC. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
