He is survived by: his parent Sylvia Sams Roddy of Greer; his children, Breana Burney-Ballew of Spartanburg, SC and Chase Vickers of Boiling Springs; his siblings, Dana Shamp (Daniel) of Wellford, SC, Darrell Lee Sams of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dewayne Sams (Kellie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his nephews, Victoria Perry, Alexander Shamp, Brianna Sams, Brinley Sams, Bryson Sams and Brandon Sams.
