He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Settle (Edwards) and Huber H. Settle. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Ramona Settle (Harris); his children, Ann Eaker, David Settle, Jr. (Paula) of Inman and Harris Settle (Kathy) of Inman; his siblings, Sam Settle and Mary Louise Raines; his sister-in-law Jean Settle; and his grandchildren, Jessica Yates (Brian), Matthew Hammett (Vernice), Jonathan Settle (Samantha), Morgan Marino (Joe), Ben Settle (Sonya), Thomas Settle (Brianna) and Laura Watson (Cody). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
