She was predeceased by: her brother Thomas Dean Emory. She is survived by: her pet Ella; her children, Rachael Dupree (Rashawn) and Jordan Dupree of Simpsonville, SC; her brother Robert Emory; her nieces, Rhendi Bird (Thomas), Shana Green (Austin), Liza and Sara Emory; her nephew Coy Chapman; and her great-nephew Stetson Bird of Inman, SC.. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
In honor of Denise, "the wild rose", the family requests her favorite roses or a donation to an animal rescue in her honor.
