He is survived by: his wife Candice Woolen Bentley of Inman; his children, Meredith McCrary (Mike) of Spartanburg and Grant Bentley of Inman; his stepsons, Andrew Woolen (Catherine) of Texas and Ronny Johnson (Melissa) of Texas; his sisters, Royall Burns (Brent) of Hendersonville, NC and Dedra Tindall (Mike) of Brevard, NC.; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Gibson and Alexis McCrary.
