She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Lee Williams and Edith Williams (Miner); and her siblings, Troy Williams, Hayden Williams, Morris Williams and Joyce Miles.
She is survived by: her husband John T. Messer; her daughters, Lori Troup (Thomas) and Amy Whiteside (Randy); her grandchildren, Jessie Stephens, Hayden Troup, Clara Troup and J. T. Troup; and her niece Darlene Blakely. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
