She is survived by: her children, Ester Bernice Reynolds (Emanuel), Eric Douglas Gary (Barbara) and Lorenzo Homer Sykes; her sisters, Dorothy Gary Lindsay (Pastor Willie), Ruby Taylor (Milton), Gloria Giacameea (Joe) and Joann McCarroll (John); her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Gary and Annie Ruth Gary; her grandchildren, Eric D. Gary II, Lugene Preston Sykes and Erica D. Gary; her great grandchildren, Noelia Gary and Delilah Beulah Sykes; and her stepgranddaughters, Whitney Mathis and Sheadia Lester. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
