It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernard Thompson of Inman, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Thompson and Dolly Biggs Thompson; his daughter Karen Lewis; his siblings, Bobbie Jean Hammett and Dennis Thompson; and also Ernestine Bryant Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam McCombs Thompson; his children, Cheryl Brown (Minister Eddie Brown) of Inman, SC, Pam Brown (Gary) of Chesnee, SC and Allen Thompson (Judi) of Inman, SC; and his stepdaughters, Christy Lopez of Fort Mill, SC and Angel Drum (Michael) of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
