He is survived by: his parent Reba Nell Cantrell Humphries; his son Bennett James; his sister-in-law Claudia Corn Bright (Leslie) of Boiling Springs, SC; his nieces, Wendy Annas (Kiernan) and Rebecca Thomas; his nephew Kelly Bernard Thomas (Jeanne); and his significant other Velvet Arwood. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews.
