She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Shea Revels and Mary McCraw Revels; her husband Albert Delane Henderson; her siblings, Mamie Gossett, Amelia Hardin, J. W. Revels, Horace Junior Revels and James Revels; and also Arthur Elder.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Elder (Pat), Steve Elder (Deborah), Leslie Elder (Terrie), Robert Elder (Gail), Jackie Elder (Pam), David Elder (Wanda), Johnny Elder (April) and Mary Elder Hawkins; her sister Brenda K. Putnam; and her sister-in-law Ann Henderson. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
