He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Elder Bessie Lee Smith of Huger, SC, Silas Smith Jr. (Joyce) of East Windsor, NJ, Keith Smith of Edison, NJ., Aaron Smith, Joseph Smith of Linden, NJ., Daniel Smith of Huger, SC and Henry Smith of Willingboro, NJ.; and his siblings, Richard Smith of Huger, SC, John Smith (Velmira) of Huger, SC and Betty Tummi of Huger, SC.. He was also cherished by Twenty-seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, twenty-four nieces and nephews, two great-nephews, six godchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
