He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Mary B. Richardson; his great grandchild Arya Glover; and his siblings, Texanna Brown, William Richardson, Joe Richardson, Johnny Richardson, Thelma Wade, Rosetta Smith, Arthur H. Richardson, Elsie Brown and Sonny Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle H. Richardson; his children, Gary Richardson (Annette), Cepio Richardson (Karen), Tammi Washington (Anthony) and Nicole Wade; his grandchildren, Kaysha Whitaker (Zachary), Aimee Glover (Shawn), Melanie Washington, Malik Richardson, Abriana Wade, Paige Richardson, Jon Antheny Washington and Kaleb Richardson; his great grandchildren, Kariah Whitaker, Kaelyn Wade, Kaia Whitaker and Aniyah Wade; his siblings, Leo Richardson (Helen), Sarah Crawford, Sammie Richardson (Emily) and David Richardson (Victoria); his aunt Rosa Gibbs; and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Ball, Patricia Porcher (Charles) and Michael White.
