We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2019, at the age of 79, Wayne H. Hammond (Hopkins, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Catherine Schuyler Hammond; and his sister Carole Hammond Champey. He is survived by: his wife Anne "Bonnie" Fickling Hammond; his children, William Hammond (Trish) of Springhill, TN, Timothy Hammond (Claire) of Bowling Green, KY, Amanda Mills of Columbia, SC, Troy Fickling (Lisa Cunningham) of Charlotte, NC and Candy Limehouse-Clow of Columbia, SC; and his grandchildren, Madeline, Lily, Elijah, Christian, Schuyler, Sean, Brock, Marlowe, Faffy, Brooks, Trey and London.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3909 Forest Dr, Columbia, SC, 29204, or to The SCOA Cares Foundation, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
