She was predeceased by: her parents, William Davis and Mary Ethel Bennett Frye; her husband Edward McCrady Claytor; her daughter Sherry Barfield; and her grandsons, Jason Barfield and B. J. Tomlinson.

She is survived by: her children, Billy Barfield (Karen), Deborah Crews (John), Perry Barfield (Annie) and Lisa Barfield; her grandchildren, Nikki Edwards (Bo), Jamie Barfield (Brittany), Amy McCutcheon (Shawn), Stephen Chandler (Melissa), Hunter Crews (Ashton) and Will Barfield (Ashley); her stepchildren, Pam Claytor, Pat Claytor and Sherrie Fortner; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Boyer (Biff) and Jack Claytor (Miriam). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
